Velvette Hair Lounge has been part of the Mount Hawthorn community since November 2025, bringing a shared passion for great hair and honest service to the neighbourhood.
Anna’s journey with hair started young, learning the craft from age 13, growing up around salons, and being inspired early on by family and a lifelong love of hair, makeup and fashion. Today, she leads Velvette Hair Lounge as owner and stylist, specialising in haircuts, colour and hair cryotherapy, alongside a senior stylist specialising in curly hair and hair extensions, and an apprentice building her career in the industry. We’re growing, with plans to expand our team and eventually bring beauty services under the Velvette roof, but our focus stays the same: honest, reputable hairdressing and stylists who genuinely care about the result.
